Margarita Ramirez

PHARR- Margarita A. Ramirez, 69, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born to Jose and Sara Aleman on June 9, 1948 in Padilla, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Margarita started working at the young age of 13 to help her parents support her younger siblings. At 19, she was briefly married and had two children. When Margarita turned 26 she met her husband of 29 years, Ruben Ramirez who she shared three children with. She is now reunited with her father; beloved husband, Ruben Ramirez and brothers, Antonio and Juan Jose Aleman who have preceded her in death. Her greatest joy in life was having her children. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Sara Aleman; loving children; Raul (Vicky) Lopez, Esperanza (Cesar) Hernandez, Rodolfo Elvis Ramirez, Diana (Juan Hernandez) Ramirez and David Ramirez. She will also be greatly missed by 14 grandchildren and her brothers; Pedro, Heriberto and Oscar Aleman. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 3 pm to 9 pm with a 7 pm prayer service at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
