Maria Antonieta Jara

Maria Antonieta Jara, 61, left to be with the Lord on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Pax Villa Hospice in McAllen. She was born to Isidro and Socorro Jara on March 26, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. She is now reunited with her parents, who have preceded her in death. Ms. Jara found great happiness when she fished with her children. Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, Mark Levey; and her children, Feliberto (Maricela) Jimenez; Blanca Judy Jimenez; Jorge Alberto Jimenez,Jose Angel (Veronica) Jimenez and step-daughter, Jovanna Covarrubia. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren; Derrick Vela, Feliberto Jimenez Jr, Anthony Jimenez, Nicholas Jimenez, Desiree Jimenez, Sylvia Gutierrez, Danika Jimenez and her siblings; Jose Luis Jara, Alberto Javier Jara, Esteban Jara, Agripina "Aggie" Jara, Isidro Jara and Alejandro Jara. Family will receive friends from 1 pm to 9 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 & Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral services will take place at 9 am, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Cremation services will follow. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
