Maria Socorro Muñoz

EDINBURG-Maria Socorro Muñoz, 59 went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2019 at her home in Edinburg, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Aquilino Avalos, Brothers, Lorenzo Avalos and Jose Avalos, and Sister, Silvia Avalos Gaytan. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Salvador Muñoz Jr, children; Pamela (Kyle Thomas) Watts, LeRoy (Elizabeth) Muñoz, Mark Muñoz, April Muñoz (Eric) Gonzalez, and Samantha Muñoz (Pedro) Salto. She also leaves behind her grandson, LeRoy Alexander Muñoz, Mother; Juana Perez, Sisters; Flor Estella Garcia, Felipa Avalos, Maria Amparo Avalos, Maria Isabel Avalos, and Guillermina Avalos. Her Brothers; Santos Avalos, Juan Avalos, Macario Avalos, Candelo Avalos, Leopoldo Avalos, Hermenegildo Avalos, and Margarito Avalos. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley at Chapel of Remembrance in Pharr. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at El Deviño Rendentor Church in Mission, Texas. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Valley Memorial Gardens 3605 N. Taylor Rd. in Mission. Funeral services and arrangements are under the care of Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley of Pharr, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Salvador Muñoz Jr., LeRoy Muñoz, Mark Muñoz, Pedro Salto, Eric Gonzalez, and Kyle Watts.
