Mariselda Ornelas

She was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, cheering passionately for her team. Her love for animals was evident in the tender care she showed to her dogs, Llorona and Yolo, and her parrot, Pretty Baby. Mariselda found joy in playing tennis and nurturing her garden, where her plants flourished under her attentive care.

Mariselda is survived by her sisters, Ofelia, Enriqueta, and Dominga, and her brothers, Juan, Rudy, Conrado, Raul, and Esteban. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dominga R. Ornelas, and her brothers, Pedro R. Ornelas, Oscar Ornelas, and Ramiro Ornelas. Her memory will also be cherished by her numerous nieces and nephews, who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

Mariselda's life was a testament to the beauty of simple joys and the power of love and inspiration. Her spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she left behind.

A visitation will be held on January 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577. A chapel service will follow at the same location, starting at 2:00 pm. Mariselda will be laid to rest at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, with the burial commencing at 3:00 pm.
