

Olga Reyna Karr, born on February 4, 1940, in Ejido Dolores San Julian Municipal de Linares, Nuevo León, Mexico, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 85. She was a longtime resident of Pharr, Texas.
Olga lived most of her life in Pharr and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. She married the love of her life, Humberto Karr, and together they built a beautiful family of five children. Her pride and joy was her beloved family.
A gifted, self-taught seamstress, Olga poured her creativity into every piece she made without the use of a pattern. She designed beautiful dresses throughout her life, including the treasured Quinceañera gowns she lovingly made for her granddaughters.
Known for her social personality, Olga made friends wherever she went. She especially enjoyed her morning walks through the neighborhood, where she effortlessly made friends with neighbors and brightened their days with her cheerful conversations. One of her favorite destinations and diversions was Las Vegas and playing slot machines. She also enjoyed playing bingo, tending to her plants, and spending quality time with her family. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. As the matriarch of the Karr family, she guided her children with love, strength, and unwavering devotion.
Her homemade tortillas de harina and her traditional midnight buñuelos for New Year’s were family favorites. Her warm smile, creative spirit, and the love she stitched into every part of life will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Humberto Karr Sr. They are now reunited in a beautiful celebration in Heaven.
Olga is survived by her five beloved children: Griselda Karr, Angel Jaime (Michelle) Karr, Humberto (Cynthia) Karr Jr., Adrian (Christina) Karr, and Ivan (Julie) Karr; her 11 grandchildren: Adrienne, Kyle, Isabelle, Caleb, Jacinda, Jacob, Adrina, Christopher, Caden, Jared, and Kaitlyn; her great-grandchild, Elijah; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas, on December 15, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the same location. Public visitation will continue on December 16, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
A Catholic Mass will take place at St. Anne Catholic Church in Pharr, Texas, on December 16, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas, at 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
