Raul Garces Jr.

Raul Garces Jr. entered into eternal rest on November 24th 2023, at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Edinburg. He was 65 years old. Raulito, as he was fondly called by his friends and family are sadden by his death.

Raul was born on December 1, 1957 and grew up in Pharr, Texas. He was a loving and caring brother who loved watching sports. He graduated with a High School Diploma from P.S.J.A. High School and later pursued an interest in Bartending. This profession allowed him to meet interesting people throughout the Rio Grande Valley. He later moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to continue his bartending skills. After a few years he decided to move to Marquette, Michigan overlooking Lake Superior where he lived for most of his life until falling to an illness that brought him back to Texas.

He is proceeded in death by his parents: Raul and Maria Del Rosario Garces (+).

Left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Ruben (Mary Alice) Garces, Alex Garces, and Tim (Carmen) Garces;numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, our dear brother. You will always be in our hearts and memories.

A visitation for Raulito will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm, at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577. A catholic service will occur Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:00 am, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577.
