San Juanita Martinez Gutierrez

San is survived by her beloved husband, Blas Cortiez; her children; Luis Gerardo Cortez (Esperanza); Jorge Alberto Cortez (Yolanda); Mike Angel Cortez (Ilse); and Veronica Judith Cortez (Alberto); her father; Salvador Martinez Garza and her siblings; Maria, Berta, Salvador, Lidia, Jose, Adriana, Agustina and Vicky. San Juanita is also survived by her 12 grandchildren who she loved and cherished.

San was preceded in death by her mother; Agustina Gutierrez Martinez.

A visitation for San Juanita Martinez will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, TX. A catholic mass will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at 1:30 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church located at 216 W 1st St, San Juan, Texas and a burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N. Sugar Rd in Pharr, TX.
