Sylvia Martinez

Born in Edinburg, she was a lifetime resident. She married her high school sweetheart, Raul Martinez. She enjoyed cooking for her family and her catering business. Sylvia also enjoyed shopping with her children, while her husband worked. Her favorite holiday was, -Thanksgiving- this was the day of the year, she went all out on her cooking and all her family was united. Sylvia was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. She is going to be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Raul Martinez; her two children, Raul "R.J." Martinez, Jessica Martinez; five siblings, Thomas Medrano, Christina Sifuentes, Refugio Medrano, Lydia (Ricardo) Villa, Fidel (Cyndi Medrano Jr.; extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. A catholic service will take place at 10 am on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Funeral service will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
