Alice Kathleen Taylorson

She was born October 29, 1950 in Baltimore, MD to the late Calvin and Anna Goeller. She was the 2nd born of 5 children. On February 5, 1969, she married the love of her life and very best friend, Jim.

She has devoted her entire life to God, her husband, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Although she was the mother of five children, she helped raise numerous others who also call her Mom. She was a dedicated Christian, mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She was happiest when surrounded by family. She loved cooking large meals and finding any reason to celebrate just to be together. Her love showed through her actions. She shared love with everyone who knew her. She enjoyed, and was very talented at, cooking, art, gardening and giving advice. If you needed guidance, you could always count on her to send you down the right path. She made a positive impression in the lives of all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jim. Also by her son Jim, Jr and wife Tina (of Locust Grove, GA) , son Karl and wife Emily (of Seale, AL), daughter Teresa (of Sumter, SC), son Danny and wife Robin (of Seale, AL). She was the proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She also has three sisters and one brother.

Services to celebrate the life of Alice are Wednesday, March 11 6-8pm at Striffler -Hamby in Phenix City. Funeral at SilverRun Baptist in Seale, AL at 2pm on Thursday, March 12 with graveside immediately following at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City.
