Mrs. Brassell was born December 9, 1942 to the late Thurman and Annie Maude King. She was a graduate of Central High School and a retired Civil Service Personnel of 30+ years at Ft. Benning, GA. She was a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Titus Brassell, and her daughter, Lisa Miller as well as seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Terri Edwards (Ken), Kristi Bruffy (Troy), and Jason Brassell (Brooke), her sisters Jean Price, Marie Chappelear, and Nellie Hales, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm EST at Striffler-Hamby Funeral Home in Phenix City. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Striffler-Hamby with Dr. Ray Cummings officiating with graveside services immediately following at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Reception will follow at Golden Acres Baptist Church
