Visitation for family and friends for Alvin will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Concord Baptist Church, 321 Lee Road 251, Salem, AL 36874. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 321 Lee Road 251, Salem, AL 36874, followed by an interment in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Salem, AL. Pastor Bud Passmore will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bart Amos, Jeff Henderson, Pat Moore, John Pound, Danny Tice and Glenn Gordy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Harris and GW Evans.
Mr. Price was born September 10, 1954 in Ashland, Alabama; son of the late Gerald Truett Price and Katheline "Potsy" Moore Price. He worked in the pipeline industry most of his life and was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Salem, Alabama. He was as an avid fisherman and a hard worker who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone he could.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Matthews Price, and his son, Brandon Matthew Price.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristin Moore and husband, Wade three grandchildren, Price, Garris and Davis, his sister, Susan Wheeler and husband, Ronnie along with several nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Concord Baptist Church.
