Barbara Enfinger

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jimmy Hedden, her son, Ben Smith, and her beloved husband, Rex Enfinger. Though her life held moments of great loss, Barbara carried herself with quiet strength, a loving heart, and an unwavering devotion to her family.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Yon (Carol), Shane Smith (Chere'), her daughter, Shannon Brown (Victor), and her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply, Scott Yon (Christina), Caleb Yon (Charla), Payne Yon (Megan), Jared Yon (Leila), Christopher Brown, Carrington Brown, Victor Coppins (Lauren), Evan Smith, and a very special granddaughter, Morgann Ali (Iyan). Barbara also leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren, extended family member, and many lifelong friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 1-2pm EST in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, 3770 Hwy 431 N. Phenix City, AL 36867. A graveside service will follow at 2pm EDT at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 N. Phenix City, AL 36867.
