Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, May 28, 2023 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, Alabama with Reverend Grant Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. A private burial will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Fulone was born January 9, 1938 in Columbus, Georgia; daughter of the late William Rufus and Josie Sirmons Stringfellow. She was retired from First Alabama Bank and a member of Epworth Methodist Church in Phenix City.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Fulone, son, Ricky Maloy, daughter, Cynthia Maloy, sisters, Rhoda Mitchell and her husband, Clifford, Josie Carrier and her husband, James, brothers, L.B. Stringfellow and W.R. Stringfellow.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Fulone, grandson, Brandon Fulone both of Phenix City, AL and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Fulone was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a big heart, loved to cook and care for people and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
