Billy H. Morris Sr.

Billy H. Morris Sr., age 78, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.

Mr. Morris was born May 29, 1943 in Geneva, Alabama; son of the late Noah Morris and Ruby Blackman. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Annie S. Hutto Morris, daughter, Anita Harris and granddaughter, Michelle Scroggins.

Survivors include his children, Billy Morris, Jr. (Tonja), Sherry L. Lloyd (Kenny), Ray Harless (Libby), Susan Bishop, Steve H. Morris (Daphne), Debra Keyser (Rusty); sisters, Sybile English and Betty S. Turner along with 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
