Carl D. Collins, age 67, resident of Pine Mountain, Georgia, died on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at his residence. Graveside services with military honors are scheduled at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Alabama on Friday, June 5, 2015, 2:30 p.m.
Mr. Collins, son of the late Emmitt Collins, Sr. and Jessie Ward Collins, was born February 13, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving his country honorably during the Vietnam Era Conflict. Mr. Collins was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Patricia Voisine Collins and three sisters. Mr. Collins is survived by his daughter, Tracy L. Daniels and her husband Tommy of Columbus, Georgia; former spouse, Sandra Carroll of Westville, Florida; two brothers; many other relatives and friends.
