

Christopher James McMillion, 25 of Salem, Alabama died Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Donnie Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. Serving as pall bearers will be Jacob Martin, Nick Holland, Brad Jenkins, Scott Jenkins, Brandon McMillion and Jeff Jackson. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Christopher was born January 14, 1991 in Fort Benning, GA; son of John Paul Gergley, Jr. and Stephanie Michelle McMillion; he attended Smiths Station Schools and was a member of the class of "2009". Chris loved roller skating and working on cars, but he loved riding motorcycles more. When he wasn't riding, you could find him playing video games at Brad or Jeff's house. Chris liked to fish when he got a chance. He played baseball and Pee Wee football when he was 12 years old.
Other than his mother and father, he is survived by his sister, Jennifer M. McMillion of Salem, AL, grandfather, James H. McMillion of Salem, AL, grandmother, Margie Hawkins of Gulf Shores, AL, uncle Mike T. McMillion and Veronica, aunt, Stacey Robinson and Donnie, aunt, Dawn Giles all of Phenix City, AL; Godparents, Steve and Sharon Colley, Godsister, Heather Colley of Opelika, AL and many more great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
