Clinton Steve Spradley, 61, of Smith Station, Alabama passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, August 5, 2024. He was a beloved father, uncle, brother, and member of the Smiths Station, Alabama community.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM August 10, 2024 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, Alabama 36867 with Allen McPherson and Dan Elkins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens following the services at the funeral home.
Steve was born November 18, 1962 in Columbus, Georgia to Betty Louise Carden and the late Joe Clinton Spradley, Jr. It was said that Steve never knew a stranger and this was made evident by the abundance of friends and family that loved him so dearly. Steve was a painter for many years, eventually opening his own business. His role as a painter allowed him to share his love and commitment he had for his community. Steve will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Louise Carden; children, Page Spradley, Crystal Spradley, Ashley Spradley, Clint Spradley, and Jeremy Spradley; sister, Carol Burkhalter (William); brother, Scott Carden; nephews, Dakota Burkhalter, Trestian Donnelly, and Ethan Reese Carden; niece, Cheyenne Burkhalter, along with numerous other family and friends.
