Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in the Lakewood Hall
of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 p.m.
till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Crystal was born in Natural Bridge, VA. to the late Charles and Virginia Grim and was
married to Roger W. Carr, Sr. on January 16, 1946. She had two brothers and two sisters,
one sister, Dora Jane Jarrell is still living. She spent her life supporting her husband, raising
her children, managing her household and serving others. Crystal was a member and active
participant at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Smiths Station AL. for many years.
Crystal is survived by her six children, Roger (Elizabeth) Carr, Mike (Ann) Carr, Barbara (Joe) Franklin,
Jane Carr, John Carr, and Don (Denise) Carr, 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
