Duane A Nash

A visitation for family and friends for Duane will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Phenix City, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867, followed by a celebration of life funeral service with military honors at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Nash was born November 22, 1930 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin; son of the late Hugh and Vivian Nash. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He worked many years for Dudley Lumber Company and most recently was employed with the Solid Waste Department in Lee County, AL. He also attended Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Smiths Station, AL.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Nash, son, David Nash and grandson, Jared Nash.

Survivors include his loving wife, LaDonna Nash, daughter, Edrie Cox (Dwayne), sons, Mark Donaldson (Alyssa), Billy Donaldson (Julia); grandchildren, Stefanie Bailey (Leyna and Willow), Kayla Bailey (Mason and Piper) Alyssa and (Justin) Malone (Kayden, Dawson and Anna), Alicia (Trevor Channels) Donaldson (Paxton, Carter), Taylor, Alexa, Elliana, Chloe and Gracie, Madison Donaldson (Emma, Eli and Abigail), Carolyn's only son, Ronnie Pouncey and David's daughters, Jessica and Carly.
