Kent was born January 6, 1985 in Columbus, Georgia to Gloria Claridy and Frankie Claridy. He was a life-long resident of Phenix City. He was all boy growing up, with a strong will and free-spirit. Kent grew up to be a very talented builder. He loved fishing and enjoying the outdoors with his best fur friend “Cash”. Kent loved his wife, children, parents and extended family. He also loved the Lord. Kent had his battles, but like the prodigal son, he could always (and did) come back home. Kent was a prankster. He enjoyed playing jokes on his wife, children and Cash. Kent will be remembered as: kind hearted; a loving father; a caring son; a wonderful husband; a playful uncle; and a good friend.
Kent is preceded in death by; brother-in-law Lee Heath; maternal grandparents Bruce and Audrey Sorrels, and paternal grandparents Horace and Gloria Claridy. He is survived by his wife, April Cherry Claridy; son Jaiden Livingston; son Mathew Claridy; and daughter Kendyll Cherry Claridy; mother Gloria Claridy and father Frankie Claridy; sister Kacey Krebbs (Jay); other family members; and a multitude of friends.
