Harry Burton Williams, Sr.

A visitation for family and friends for Burton will be held Monday, February 27, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. Following the visitation for family and friends will be a graveside funeral service at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, Alabama.

Mr. Williams was born August 22, 1934 in Phenix City, Alabama; son of the late John Hillary Williams, Sr. and Emma Elizabeth Burton Williams. He was owner of Seale Road Auto Parts and served in the U.S. Army.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Whitman, Gladys Trussell and his brothers, John Hillary Williams, Jr. and Harold Williams.

Survivors include his loving wife, Maxine Williams, son, Harry Williams, Jr. (Sherry), daughter, Ellaine Corbett (Johnny); grandchildren, John Mack Corbett, III (Jennifer), Jared Corbett (Jennifer), Benjamin Corbett (Brooke) and 7 great grandchildren.
