Ila Pauline Edwards

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, Alabama with Pastor Ken Dawson officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Edwards was born September 24, 1934 in Ellerslie, GA; daughter of the late W.F. and Oleene Jackson Thomason. She was a member of Baker Baptist Church in Dickinson, TX and was a housewife.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel K. Edwards; brothers, Emory J. Thomason, Thomas O. Thomason and Willie Fred Thomason, Jr.; and sisters, Elva Grace Thomason, Elizabeth T. Launer, Helen Yvonne Thomason Cook and Frances T. Brazil.

Survivors include her brother, Clarence D. Thomason and wife, Barbara of Leary, GA, sisters, Patricia T. Hudgens of Columbus, GA and Rebecca Ann T. Baxley and husband, Roy of Phenix AL; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
