Jack D. Carden, 89 of Phenix City, Alabama died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 10:30am EDT at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.
Mr. Carden was born April 25, 1927 in Cusseta, Georgia; son of the late Joe Clifford and Katie Lou Day Carden. He served in the U.S. Navy, the Army National Guard and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Martha june Carden, daughter Rebecca Carden Maiello (Vince), son, Drew Carden (Debra), granddaughters, Kelly Carden McAbee (Dennis), Bree Busby Waddle (Craig), great grandchildren, Cody McAbee, Mason Waddle and Maggie Mae Waddle; sister, Louise Davidson and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Carden.
