Jarod Michael Murray

Jarod Michael Murray, age 22 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at his home. Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. EDT Monday, May 6, 2024 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jarod was born June 15, 2001 in Opelika, Alabama; son of Michael Kurt Murray and Cheryl Ann Stocker Pate. He was a graduate of Smiths Station High School and was an electrician and welder by trade.

Jarod was a hard worker who made the best out of any situation. He was loyal to a fault and fun to be around. He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting, an avid Alabama fan and was loved by all who knew him. He never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, James Collins and Kristofer Nunelly.

Survivors include his mother, Cheryl Pate (David), father, Mike Murray (Tammy), grandmother, Michaelene Parks Geesaman, grandfather, Norburt Murray; sisters, Katie Peugh, Natasha Lynch (Cody), Brittany Bonner (Cody), Jade Norris; brothers, Matt Collins, Jessie Harris, Taylor Pate, Hunter Pate, Nick Thompson, Randez Lockett, Dale Pate, Marquez Pate, Daniel Pate and Dalton Webb, his brother for life. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Kadence, Kylee, Jaxon, Liam, Carson, Leigha and Alexander.
