Infant Jayson Ely Caipen passed away Friday September 23, 2011 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. ET at Lakeview Memory Gardens, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431/280 N., Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jayson was born September 18, 2011 in Columbus, Georgia, son of Steve and Melinda Scott Caipen of Phenix City, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harry Scott and Carolyn Scott.
Other than his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Dylan, Hunter and Kyle Caipen, grandparents, Steve Caipen, Sr. and Tammy Caipen, great grandfather, William Ballew, all of Phenix City, AL, great grandparents; Sharon and John Heinecke of Colorado, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
