Jenell Grant Marshall, 98 of Cumming, Georgia, formerly of Phenix City, Alabama passed away February 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Karen Seifert officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. A private interment will be held in Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Marshall was born October 23, 1923 in Bainbridge, Georgia; daughter of the late Calvin Cleveland Grant and Josie Mae Dykes Grant. She was a member of Summerville United Methodist Church and owned and operated the Red Devil Book Store and JMar Nursery on Stadium Drive in Phenix City.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lake Marshall and her son, Michael Ray Marshall.
Survivors include her grandson, Jimmy Marshall and his wife, Shannon Marshall, great granddaughters, Miranda Marshall Strickland and her husband, Brian Strickland and Jordan Marshall along with her great great grandson, Wyatt Strickland.
