Jimmie A. Strickland, III, "Robo Tech", 53 of Smiths Station, AL passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL. Graveside services will be held Friday at 3:00 pm ET at Lakeview Memory Gardens according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Jimmie was born October 6, 1958 in Columbus, Georgia, son of the late Jimmie A. Strickland,II and Gail Trawick Sullivan. He was a self-employed auto technician and was baptist by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Jamie Carden and husband Brandon of Smiths Station, AL, his mother and step-father, Gail and Robert Sullivan of Smiths, AL, sister, Elizabeth Seagraves and husband, William of Talbotton, GA , brother, Keith Lambert of Columbus, GA, two grandchildren, Braylon and Wesley Carden,
step-children, Michelle Murray of Phenix City, AL, Michael Murray of Mobile, AL, three step-granchildren and special friend, Denise Boyd of Smiths Station, AL, numerous other relatives and friends.
