Cataula, GA- Joe Dennis, 66, of Cataula, passed away on May 2, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Dennis will be held at 4:00 pm, on Monday, May 5, 2014 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby 3770 Hwy. 431 N. Phenix City, Alabama, with Reverend David Helms officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Dennis will be from 2-4pm, on Monday, May 5, 2014, at the funeral home.
Mr. Dennis was born May 4, 1947 to the late Norman Ellsworth Dennis and Pearl Viola Poole Dennis. Mr. Dennis served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debra Dennis, five children, Wendy Massey, Kimberly Stocks, Tami Poague, Bradley Dennis, and Casey McDaniel, seven sisters, Audrey Shoemaker, Doris Smith,Norma Amburgey, Pearlie Guinn, Barbara Goehring, Clara Reed, and Irene Laird, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
