Joseph B. Powell, Jr. 66 of Columbus, died Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus. A Memorial Graveside service will be held Saturday June 24, 2017 at 11:00 am in Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Al.
Mr. Powell was born February 15, 1961 in Columbus, son of the late Joseph B. Powell, Sr. and Christine Dunaway Powell. He was preceded in death by his son, Jody Powell.
Surviving family members include his wife, Julie Powell, Daughter Pam Astin and her husband Alan, and a Son, Keith Powell. Grandsons, Gary Mills, Jackson Allen, Jeffrey Tyler, Heaven and Chandler. Granddaughters, Kaley Mills, Lauren Tharp, and Jillian Allen. Two Great Grandchildren. Two brothers, Billy Powell and Terry Powell.
