Kathryn Mary Stokes

Kathryn Mary Stokes 70, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in Phenix City, Alabama. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL with Pastor Randy Stokes officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.

Mrs. Stokes was born March 4, 1951 in Hartford, Alabama; daughter of the late John Jack Williams and Marjorie Carter Williams of Geneva, Alabama. She was a homemaker and a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Dothan, AL. She loved plants, flowers, her family, but mostly loved people. She was a caregiver to many of her family in which she loved as well.

Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Stokes, step-daughter, Leah Ann Stokes and her sister, Elizabeth Ann Driscal.

Survivors include her mother, Marjorie Williams, daughters, Amber Hatcher Lewis (Ryan) of Dothan, AL, Jennifer Atkinson (Jamie) of Phenix City, AL, sisters, Jackie Mata of Geneva, AL, Ruth McCardle (Danny) of Dothan, AL, Michelle Gaiewski (David) of Cedar Park, TX; grandchildren, Autumn Roberts, Brandon Roberts, Caleb Ray Terrell, Nathaniel Terrell, Preston Palmer, Breanna Argo, Ashton Atkinson, Weston Atkinson, Braxton Atkinson, Jett Lewis and great grandchild, Kullen Argo.
