Mary B. Hudson

Mary Bryan Hudson, 78 of Smiths Station, AL died Monday, December 27, 2010 at the Columbus Hospice House. A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. EST, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Glenn Anthony Baptist Church, 1109 39th St., Columbus, GA 31904 with Rev. Hank Reeves officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Hudson was born July 9, 1932 in Coleman, GA, daughter of the late Calvin H. and Cora P. Bryan. She was retired from Civil Service at Fort Benning, GA after 22 years of service.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Samuel B. Hudson, three sons, David G. Hudson and wife Margie of Richmond Hill, GA, Joe L. Hudson and wife Mona, Bryan D. Hudson and wife Debbie and daughter, DeLaine Hudson. Also surving is nine grandchildren, Lee Hudson, Allison Hope and husband Chris, Jaree Hudson, Josh Hudson and wife, Heather, Brent Hudson, Clint Hudson and wife, Haley, Ginger Spakes and husband, Chase, BJ Wilbanks, Slade Rimmer and husband, John, ten great grandchildren, Zack Hudson, Abby Hudson, Molly Hope, Braden Hudson, Bella Hudson, Layne Hudson, Lyla Spakes, Maddox Rimmer, Taylor Rimmer and Riley Rimmer. Flowers are accepted or contributions may be made to the Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Rd., Columbus, GA 31909.
