Mildred "Madge" Ross of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. EDT Friday, June 8, 2018 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL with visitation from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm prior to the service. A private entombment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Ross was born in Pike County, Alabama; daughter of the late Aaron Foster Ellis and Alva Lee Mauldin Ellis. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a former member of the First Congregational Christian Church in Phenix City, AL. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Ross and her son, Robin Ross.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Brooks (Jimmy Adams) of Hatchechubbee, AL, son, Roger Ross (Patsy) of Opelika, AL, daughter-in-law, Lisa Ross of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Chad Brooks, Tiffany Brooks, Kyle Ross (Joy) and Ashley Ross; six great grandchildren, Jacob, Katelyn, Blair, Caleb, Canaan, Mikayla and several nieces and nephews.
