Raymond Earl Rozell

A Visitation for Family and Friends of Raymond will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will occur on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. A burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, Alabama.

Earl was born February 5, 1962 in AL; son of the late Raymond L. and Betty Jordan Rozell. He had been an Over the Road truck driver since 1988. He was a volunteer firefighter for Mount Olive Fire Dept. and an avid Alabama fan. He loved working on cars, camping, fishing, and kayaking, but mostly loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Rozell.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Robin Rozell; children, Brenda Ezell, Raymond Earl Rozell, Jr., Leon Meares, Ashley Dell (Ken), and Tosha Plavca; sister, Sandra Purdue (Lanny); grandchildren, Hailey Ezell, Brody Ezell, Leon Meares, Jr., Erika Plavka, Ely Plavka, Nyk Dell and Jeffery Dell.
