Robert Earl Sullivan, 78 of Smiths Station, AL passed away Monday November 3, 2014 at the Bethany House. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday November 5, 2014 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Wayne Ivey and Rev. Jim Gilboy officiating according to Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Sullivan was born August 15, 1938 in Hartford, Alabama; son of the late Howard and Riffie Davis Sullivan. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Opelika, AL and was retired from the Eagle and Phenix Mill.
Survivors include his wife, Gail T. Sullivan of Smiths Station, AL, son, Robert Earl Sullivan, Jr. and wife Lisa of Grandberry, TX, daughter, Dorothy Stanfill and husband Audie of Smiths Station, AL, step-daughter, Elizabeth Shiver and husband Michael of Salem AL, brother, Jimmy Sullivan of Smiths Station, AL, nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
