Ruby D. Hall

Ruby D. Hall, 86 of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. EST Saturday, February 9, 2013 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL with Rev. Jimmie Hobbs officiating. A private burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. Serving as pall bearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service.

Mrs. Hall was born April 21, 1926 in Carroll County, Georgia; daughter of the late Cleo and Eunice Green Driver. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joel W. Hall.

Survivors include her daughters, Onezima Everritt and husband Tommy and Linda Atchley both of Phenix City, AL, her son, Ben Swofford and wife Sherry of Powder Springs, GA, sister, Charlotte Gipson of Douglasville, GA, grandchildren, Melissa Costello (David), Amy Casey (Jeremy), Rachel Keith (Patrick), Leland Atchley, Jason Swofford (Bridgette), Tara Johnson (Tim), 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
