Sherry Ann Hyers

Sherry Ann Hyers, age 37, of Hatchechubbee, Alabama passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at Piedmont Columbus Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Sherry was born November 19, 1981 in Fort Benning, Georgia the daughter of the late James E. Hyers and Kimberly Meckes Hyers of Hatchechubbee, AL.

Her father James and her dad, Alan McRae, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Kimberly Hyers; her sister, Sheila Hyers; brothers, Gary Hyers (Cheri), Dennis Hyers (Barbara); sisters, Jennifer Byrd (Jeff) and Ashley Till (Mark); brother, Scott McRae (Heather); her grandfather, Carl Meckes; grandmother, Avis Meckes and grandmother, Betty McMaster.
