Wilson "Willie B " A. Dunn

Funeral services for Mr. Dunn will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 3770 Highway 431 N. Phenix City with Reverend Thomas Roughton officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the funeral home. Wilson Albert Dunn was born August 17, 1926 to the late Charles Thomas Dunn and Mattie Edwards Dunn. In addition to his parents Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by two brothers; Charles Edward Dunn and James Owen Dunn and four sisters; Edna Dunn Roughton, Eva Dunn, Ann Dunn Morris, and Mattie Clyde Dunn Brooks and a son; Robert Albert Dunn. Mr. Dunn was a lifelong resident of Phenix City he was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, and was retired from Fieldcrest Mill after 42 years of service. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Virginia Dunn Cannon, two sons; Richard Dunn and his wife Charlotte, Barry Dunn and his wife Beth, one sister; Pearl Dunn King, a brother; George Hilson Dunn and his wife Beverly, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Pallbearers will be Terry Dunn, Jeff Dunn, Royce Morris, Bill Roughton, Dennis Dunn, Clayton Dunn, Tommy Dunn, Randy Dunn and Jason Dunn. Herbert Herring will serve as a Honorary Pallbearer.
