Chon Thi Mckenzie

In 1972, Chon, also known as Lynn, came to America and resided in Phoenix, Arizona. She met and fell in love with the love of her life, Larry McKenzie. On November 28, 1981, Larry and Lynn united in Holy matrimony and were married for over forty years.

Chon learned to read and write English, attended and graduated from trade and training schools and worked in electronics at Varian and Jabil before retiring.

In 2011, She became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America.

Chon loved fishing, gardening, and babysitting children.

On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in Tempe, Arizona, Our beloved Chon (Lynn) unexpectedly went to be with our Lord God at the age of 73 years.

Chon (Lynn) is survived by her husband, Larry McKenzie and their dog, Baby, beloved sister Win Nam Nah and husband Con, beloved sister Ann Rector and husband Jeff , beloved brothers Win Van Sow, Win Van Kun both residing in Vietnam, and beloved sister Win Ta Dot of Vietnam. Family, nieces, nephews, and God-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Win Van Ba, father and Lay Ta Yow, mother.
