Daniel Kase Mackenzie

Daniel Kase Mackenzie, 45, an engineer in sales at VERTIV Corp in Reno, Nevada, passed away on 30 April 2019. He was born on 10 December 1973 in Bethesda, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science. He later earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Arizona State University. He had many friends in both the Reno, Nevada and Tucson, Arizona areas. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was a soccer player and wrestler in his youth, loved bicycling and was passionate about snowboarding. He was an avid fan and loved to attend all kinds of collegiate and professional sporting events. The University of Arizona Wildcats was his favorite.

Daniel is survived by a loving family; his parents Franklin and Nancy Mackenzie of Cary, NC, his sister Lisa and brother-in-law Joseph Behrends of Wichita, KS, his brother Brian Mackenzie of Denver, CO , and his brother Andrew and sister-in-law Erica of Cary, NC . He also is survived by Josephine Behrends, niece, Mark Behrends, nephew, Carolyn Behrends, niece, Rosemary Behrends, niece, Elaina Behrends, niece, John Mackenzie, nephew and Tyler Mackenzie, nephew.

Daniel was a very generous man who loved to enjoy good times and laughs with all his friends and family near and far. He gave of himself to those he loved and those he knew and will always be sorely missed.
