Ellis Rogers Fields

Ellis Rogers Fields was born on July 16, 1941 to Reachild Fields and Ellis Rogers Boges in Monroe, Louisiana. Ellis was the eldest of fourteen brother and sisters. Ellis completed his Elementary and High School years in Evansville, IN. He traveled to Louisville, KY where he enlisted into the United States Air Force July 5, 1960 and was honorably discharged July 2, 1964.

Upon discharge, Ellis moved to Los Angeles Ca. and met the love of his life Margaret Louise Arnold. They were married July 5, 1986. To this union two children were born: Lolette and Marcus. Ellis and Margaret made a decision to relocate to Phoenix, AZ shortly after marriage to care for Mrs. Fields late mother, Margaret Clinkscales.

Ellis worked in the construction field for some time but soon discovered that working outside in Arizona was not for him. He was later hired at the United State Postal Service where he retired in July 31, 2012.

Ellis was always aware of who Christ was in his life. However in effort to further devel0p his relationship with Christ, He became a member of Shiloh Apostolic Church under the leadership of the late Bishop William Taylor where he was baptized in Jesus and Name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Ellis then branched out to AZUSA World Ministries where he has served faithfully for the more then 10 years under the leadership of Pastor Ron Arnold.

Ellis leaves behind to cherish his memory; his wife of 30 years, Mrs. Margaret Fields, two children Lolette Anderson (Ca) and Marcus Porter (Cassandra) (Ca), two grandchildren Brionna Anderson and Deveyn Anderson. His siblings Claudie Tyler, Bobby Tyler, Gary Tyler, Edward Morris Jr, Teresa Morris, Linda Jo Morris, Bruce Morris, Michael Morris and Contessa Morris.

He is preceded in death by His mother Reachild Fields and Father Ellis Rogers Boges, two sisters Patricia Tyler and Shannon Morris and two brothers Larry Tyler and Ronald Tyler.
