90, was given her angel wings on Saturday, February 16, 2013. Gladys Marie Wagner (Gerhart) was born on September 26, 1922 in York, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest of 5 siblings, and grew up embracing the Pennsylvania Dutch influences in the area. ln December of 1942, Gladys was united in marriage to George Wilson Gerhart. ln 1959, the family moved to Phoenix Arizona where Gladys was a home-maker and raised 4 children. She was a member of Grace Community Church and in her later years earned her teaching certificate and taught at a private school in Mesa, Arizona. Gladys is survived by her brother Ray Wagner of York, PA, her sons Jerry Gerhart of Sun City, AZ, Larry Gerhart of Glendale, AZ, daughters Connie Lively of Las Vegas, NV, Cindy Wiley of Mesa, AZ, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. ln lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Huger Mercy Living Center, 2345 W. Orangewood Ave., Phoenix, AZ. A private Memorial Service will be held for the family at Resthaven Park Mortuary located at 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ.
