Jacqueline Marie Kunkel

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Charleen Kunkel.

Jackie was born on August 31, 1968, in Sioux City, Iowa, but lived most of her life in Arizona. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2014 with a degree in Finance and Economics. For over 22 years, Jackie worked for Wells Fargo. Her latest position was a Fraud and Claims Ops Analyst.

Jackie was a dedicated individual who loved God and people and who was passionate about reaching her community through service. She was an active and dedicated member of SouthGate Church, and she was always found helping with Women's Ministry activities, serving in the hospitality room, or running the Sunday morning slideshows from the sound booth.

Because she no longer had any close family nearby, Jackie made all of her friends, her family. She poured out her love and generosity into each of their lives. Her friends and family remember Jackie as a loyal woman who gave freely of her time and energy to support and love others. She touched many lives and will be fondly remembered and forever missed.

A memorial is scheduled for May 29, 2021 at SouthGate Church [2020 E. Baseline Rd., Phoenix, AZ] at 10:00 AM, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jackie’s life.
