Joan Marion Van Horn

JOAN MARION VAN HORN, 91, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away November 26, 2023. She was born April 24, 1932, in Fox Lake, Wisconsin. Joannie moved to Phoenix, AZ at the age of fifteen where she met and married the love of her life Robert E. Van Horn on August 9, 1950. Joannie and Bob were married for 47 years until his passing on December 7, 1997. Our family is at peace knowing they are together Dancing in Heaven.

Dear mother to four children William (Bill), Robert (Bob), Bryan and Cindy; also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; brother Danny Hunsicker, sister-in-law Sheila Hunsicker and sister Christine Martin.

Joannie and Bob had two businesses they started together and worked side by side night and day to provide for their family. Van’s Designs in Gold and Standard Window Cleaning Co. Both businesses were successful due to their hard work and dedication.

Joannie enjoyed her family, friends, working, home, cooking, baking, gardening, and we must not leave out the birds she loved watching.
