Joshua Roy Johnson Romero

Joshua R Johnson-Romero, age 24, of Tempe, AZ Passed Away on Wednesday October 18, 2017. Joshua was born May 25, 1993 in Phoenix, Arizona. He joins his grandmother Gloria Romero, in heaven. He will be greatly missed by his family, which include his mother, Angelica Romero; his sister, Britney Johnson-Romero; brother, Jordan Robert Morales; his grandfather, Jose Romero, his niece Isabella, 5 uncles and Aunts, many of whom live in Rockport, TX, and numerous cousins.

Joshua loved his family greatly and was quick to bring a smile to their faces. He was always ready to play with his younger cousins and his 3 year old niece. She called him her uncle Duckie and considered him the best uncle ever. He was a big kid at heart.

Despite his playful attitude, he liked to keep busy. Over the years he worked in landscaping, electrical work and proved to be a very capable and hard worker as he did construction work, nearly every day, with his second cousin, Ruben.

When he wasn't working he had a passion for fishing, enjoyed playing video games and loved to eat. Of course, he also loved hanging out with his family.

A funeral service for Joshua will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. A visitation will occur Monday, November 6, 2017 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042.
