Juana H. Fierro

Juana Hernandez Fierro, 85, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 in her Phoenix home surrounded by her family.

Juana was born February 12, 1940 in Chihuahua Mexico to Adolfo & Tomasa Hernandez.

Juana shared many great stories of being raised in Mexico where she was a housekeeper, met her beloved husband Francisco Fierro, owned a tortilleria, & they were blessed with 10 children.

In the 1970’s, Juana moved to Phoenix Arizona, where she became a Devoted Housewife, Homemaker, and part-time janitor for Laveen Elementary where many of her children and grandchildren attended.

Juana loved God, reading her bible, coffee, making homemade food, she loved hosting to all her grandchildren, family & friends and sharing many stories.

Juana is survived by her children, Leticia, Alicia, Juanita, Ruben, Jesus, Carlos, Francisco, & Oscar; 25 Grandchildren, Many great great grandchildren, & 5 great great great grandchildren; Nieces & Nephew; Brothers, Manuel, Castulo, Gonzalo, Monse, Jesus, Adolfo, & Lupe; family in Mexico & many friends.

Juana will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

A visitation for Juana will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042.

A funeral mass will occur Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, 909 E Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85034.

A graveside service will follow on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042.

Psalm 23:

The Lord is my Shepherd;
