Lorena Jessie Mae Moses "Ding"

Born on April 22, 1931 in Bosque, AZ. She was the second of six children born to the late Dee H. and Bertha Lee Hereford. Lorena passed into glory on August 14, 2012. Lorena found God at an early age at her grandmother's side. She received her education at Booker T. Washington and Paul Lawrence Dunbar Elementary Schools and attended George Washington Carver High School. Lorena met and married Leroy Rodgers. She later married Leroy Moses. Lorena and Leroy were married for 37 years and together raised Lorena’s three daughters. Lorena's favorite pastimes were shopping, cooking for family gatherings, gardening and she was an excellent decorator and seamstress. She recently found a new pastime when she traveled to New Orleans, LA and cruised to the Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Mexico. Lorena was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, both her husbands, four brothers; Elbert, Albert, Alvin and Edward and one grandson; Spencer Louis Stingley. Lorena leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters; Lanetha Stingley, Etta Mae Moore and Bertha Lee Winfield, her grandchildren; Irwin and Christopher Stingley, Lorena Gallagher (Daniel), Quon Moore and Rachel Winfield, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Lorena also leaves behind one sister; Ara Vivian Hereford of Henderson, NV, one brother; Louis Pete (Josephine) of Phoenix, AZ, three sisters-in-law; Ruth Hereford, Irene Worley and Lorraine Gaines and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
