was born July 6, 1926 in Tucson Arizona, and passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on July 12, 2012.
Manuel worked and retired from the City of Phoenix after 30 years of services as a groundskeeper; he never really retired as he was always working and keeping busy well into is 80’s! Manuel was preceded in death by his sister, Josephine F. Tapia.Manuel is survived by his loving wife of nearly 64 years, Genevieve; his children, Linda (Ray) Razo, Edward (Estella) Tapia, Dolores (Rex) Davis, Manuel (Margie) Tapia, David Tapia and Anthony “Tony” Tapia; 23 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and one on the way, 10 great-great grandchildren and one on the way. Manuel had a wonderful sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. He always had a smile or was making a silly face. He was the best husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather to his family. He is loved by so many and will be missed by all.
