

Rachel was born on December 17, 1937, in Brawley, California. She later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she attended and graduated from South Mountain High School. Phoenix would become the place she proudly called home for the rest of her life.
On February 8, 1958, Rachel married the love of her life, Fernando Temporado. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and friendship, sharing decades of love and partnership.
Rachel worked as a bookkeeper and later served the community through her work with the Department of Vital Records for the State of Arizona. She was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication throughout her career.
A devoted Catholic, Rachel lived her life guided by faith and compassion. She had a deep love for her family and cherished the many moments spent surrounded by them. Rachel also had a passion for music, especially the guitar played by her husband and found joy in gatherings filled with laughter, stories, and celebrations with friends and loved ones.
Rachel was the beloved matriarch of a large and loving family. She is survived by her husband, Fernando; her four children; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was also the oldest of eight siblings and survived by her three sisters.
Rachel’s warmth, strength, and joyful spirit will live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her legacy of love, faith, and family will continue for generations.
