Sharon M. Price, age 49 passed peacefully on Tuesday August 25th, 2015, at Friendship Village in Arizona. She was born July 5th, 1966 the only daughter of Merlin, and Elsie Finn in Biloxi Mississippi. She traveled the world growing up, as her father served United States Army. In the 70’s Sharon and her family made Arizona their home. Sharon was never the type to let anyone tell her what to do, so she dropped out of high school, and obtained her GED. She then pursued a degree in dental hygiene, where she was always top of her class. Sharon had many jobs in her day, but none she loved more than being a loving mother, and wife. Sharon was preceded in death by her Father Merlin, and Brother John. She was survived by the love of her life Alvin Turner, her 5 children Alexis, Luchan, Alexandra, Jesse, and Jessica. 7 step Children (whom she loved as her own), 34 grandchildren, 3 brothers, a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sharon would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, gardening and reading to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for us all to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.
We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family and friends, but also colleagues and strangers, many of whom over time also became friends. She worked very hard all her life, up until the very end. She made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together the life of Sharon Marie Price.
