She met her husband William Anthony Perea in Phoenix, Arizona and married in 1960.
Tillie's pastimes were filled with watching court TV shows, doing crossword puzzles and singing along to her Mexican music on the kitchen CD player. She was known for her New Mexico Green Chili with homemade tortillas and delicious potato salad. In her later years Mom's love of ice cream was legendary. Junior would buy her a gallon of ice-cream and by the next day it was gone; She often blamed it on the grandkids, even if they hadn't been there. We never found out who ate all the pan dulce either.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Perea. She is survived by her four children: Priscilla Ramirez, Patricia Herrera, William Martin Perea, Christine Olea, and Peter Olea (Son-in-Law).
She also has 7 grandchildren: Ernie Villegas, Anissa Villegas, Jonathan Perea, Gilbert Ramirez, Katrina Perea, Renatta Ramirez, and Gianna Olea; and 4 great-grandchildren: Magenta Peña, Jett Peña, Jacob Perea, and Ethan Villegas.
Though she will be greatly missed, one only needs to look around at her family to see her in them.
She rests in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Arrangements under the direction of Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, Phoenix, Arizona.
